This week you have been 'building' settlements in your groups. For your homework, you need to make up a history and a geography for your settlement.
Ask yourself these questions:
Where is your settlement?
What sort of place is it and what is it like to live there?
Who lives there and why? (What sort of people, young families, lots of old people, young professionals etc)
Why did a setlement develop there in the first place? Try to invent a good reason why your settlement got started.
Back in school we will share your ideas and your group can vote on whose descritpion they like best to respresent your settlement.
Good luck! Please do this straight into your new TOPIC book. Bring it in on Saturday.
