Today in Y5.5

Hi Folks,
What a busy weekend! I saw some of you at the Hejaz Seasonal Concert as we were singing together in the choir, which was great fun, and very festive. I also saw many of you at the Family Fun Day on Thursday at Sierra.
You also got very busy making some amazing looking games for the YE classes. Fantastic job! I've posted some pictures of a sample of the games above.
Today's homework, Daily Maths part 1, it's ROUNDING. Finish the first entry of your Oort Cloud Mission Log. READ the mission statement carefully and use the bullet points on the small paper to guide your thinking.
Remember:
Space Mission to the Oort Cloud.
Day 1
You have been specially chosen to go on this mission.
No man or woman has EVER been to the Oort Cloud before or even seen it.
How do you feel about that?
You are getting ready to get on board the space shuttle that will take you to the Earth Orbiting Space Ship (E.O.S.S.)
Once you arrive at the EOSS you can see the Earth from 300 km away. What does it look like?
How do you feel when you see the Earth from space?
You board the Spaceship Odyssey. What does it look like? What can you see?
How do you feel when you take your seat on the Odyssey? Scared? Excited? Worried? Amazed?
Your mission leaves on time….You are on your way to the Oort cloud.

BE CREATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your spelling words will help you with some useful vocabulary.
